Autumn colours at Akizuki (秋月の紅葉), Asakura, Fukuoka on 21 November (Part 1)

I took many pictures of autumn colours at Akizuki, so-called the little Kyoto of Kyushu.

Summery
Amid the many attractions the Akizuki Castle Ruins have to offer, one of the most striking is the row of aging zelkova and maple trees near what served as the castle’s gates, Kuro-mon and Nagaoku-mon (both Municipal-Designated Culturally Important Assets). Their colorful leaves set against the gates combined with their beautiful contrast to the surrounding green cedar wood creates a unique atmosphere.
